• How do we get started?
    Simply call or email Pet Paradise Pet Sitters and set up an appointment for a consultation.
     
  • What kind of pets do you provide care for?
    We provide care for dogs, cats, birds, fish, non-poisonous reptiles and other
    small domestic animals.
     
  • Is there a charge for a consultation and is it necessary?
    The consultation is complimentary and it is required for first time customers.
    We cannot stress the importance of the consultation. This is when we all meet to get to know one another. As your pet sitter, we want all parties to feel comfortable. We will speak in detail about our services, your pet's routine and fill out the necessary paperwork. We will also go over any additional instructions that are necessary and pick up a set of house keys. Please keep in mind that consultations are also required if you are an existing customer with a new pet I haven't met or if you have moved to another home within my service area.
     
  • What if we had a consultation and decide a few days later we would like to use your services? How do you get the key?
    We offer key pick-up and delivery for $8.00 each delivery. Should you decide to use our services during the consultation, the pick-up fee is waived.
     
  • What areas do you service?
    We service Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Willow Springs and parts of South Raleigh.
     
  • Are you insured and bonded?
    Yes, we are insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates.
     
  • Is it acceptable to share sitting duties with relatives, friends or neighbors?
    We are sorry but we cannot accommodate this request for liability reasons.
     
  • What if our trip is delayed? How do we know our pet is still cared for?
    We  request that you call the office upon your return from vacation. This lets us
    know that you are home and your pet no longer needs our care. If you will be delayed, please call us as soon as you can. We will still make the scheduled visits to your pet, so please don't worry about their care. We do ask that any extra charges incurred are paid for within 5 days of your return.
     
  • Can I give you a a garage door opener instead of a key?
    For security, We will not accept any type of electronic device or other form of entry to your home. Only keys are accepted.
     
  • Can I check on my pet while I am away?
    Absolutely! We encourage that of all of our customers. During our consultation, we will go over the information so you can check on your pets in more ways than just calling. (See Check on Your Pet Page)
     
  • How do I make payments?
    Payments are made by cash or checks only. Payments are due before services are rendered. Please note returned check fee is $25.00
     
  • What if I need to go away on short notice? Can I use your services?
    If you are a first time customer, we will need a minimum of 4 days so we can set up a consultation with you and your pet. Existing customers do not need further consultations unless new pets or living arrangements have changed. Of course, scheduling as early as possible is always preferred and appreciated.
     
  • Do you provide services on holidays?
    Yes we do. Please note that there will be a $20.00 surcharge for the day of the holiday- not for each visit. The holidays this surcharge applies to are as follows: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Payments are required in full for the holidays and there are no refunds if cancelled within 72 hours before services begin. Please note, the holidays book up early.
     
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellations made 7 days or more before services begin will not be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 4 to 6 days before services begin will be charged 50% of total due and cancellations made within 72 hours before services begin will not be refunded.
     
  • Do you have references upon request? 
  • Absolutely.  We can provide you a list of references at our consulatation.
